Parents’ Association

The Bahamas Parents Association of Track & Field Athletes was formed by a group of concerned parents, guardians, coaches and BAAA executives dedicated to the task to ensure that student athletes are taking advantage of scholarship offers from colleges in the USA due to their unacceptable academic achievements and performances in high school.  The overall objective of the Association is to function as the scholarship search unit of The Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations.

Membership is open to the following categories of persons.  Parents or guardians of track and field athletes who are interested in the advancement of the student athletes’ educational careers.  Coaches, executives of the BAAA and other individuals wishing to volunteer their time and talent in the mentoring, tutoring, fundraising and conducting of activities that will benefit the Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations and by extension student athletes participating in track and field.

Application for membership can be submitted to Mr. Harrison Petty.
