Coaches’ Association

The coaches association was formed to foster a better relationship between track and field coaches in the Bahamas, enhance the development of track and field in the Bahamas, to secure and compile coaching related information for circulation throughout the Family Islands and to organize track and field coaches’ seminar and courses for the Family of Islands.

Association membership is open to Bahamian track and field coaches at any school or college, coaches of Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations’ Clubs, Bahamian coaches certified by C.A.C., USATF & IAAF and other person who may be recognized by the Association as a Coach of track and field.

Any person seeking to apply for membership should write to the Honourable Secretary. Applicants should submit the name of the school and head of Physical Education or the name of the track and field club and the President or a copy of the certificate achieved. This should be accompanied by a fifty dollars ($50.00) entrance fee.

Annual dues for each member shall be forty dollars ($40.00) payable on or before the September General Meeting.
