The Bahamas Association of Certified Officials was formed to provide quality officiating with firmness and impartiality abiding by the rules for the good of all competitors and the glory of the sport. The objectives of the Association are to officiate in track and field meets, cross country running, race walking and any other sport discipline recognized by BAAA, to govern and promote officiating at a national and international level and to promote officials to different levels of officiating certifying the eligibility of individuals.
Persons desiring membership should be over the age of 18 years and should make written application to the Secretary.
Persons eligibility for membership include Island Associations, Junior (high school students), individuals willing to uphold the constitution of the Association, honourary life members and individuals willing to upgrade themselves academically and practically.
